Ultrasonic Pest Control
Ultrasonic pest controls utilize a sound wave to repel rats, mice, and various type of rodents. Do not plug ultrasonic pest controls into an outlet that is covered by curtains, or is obscured by furniture. To be effective they must point straight into the room, or area being covered. Also do not position the pest repellers on opposite sides of the room, facing each other, as this will cause phase cancellation which will greatly reduce the coverage area. Their coverage is limited to an unobscured area. Walls and doors will dampen down (or mask) the ultrasonic signal, eventually diminishing it to the point where will be ineffective. The ultrasonic signal is above human hearing, but still acts similar to the high frequencies that we hear from our stereos. This device is highly effective at ridding your home of rodents, by irritating them with this ultrasonic frequency.
Crawl Spaces and Attics can benefit from Ultrasonic pest controls used to eliminate Rodent, Bats, and Squirrels.
Using a product that sweeps frequencies is a must. Sweeping the frequencies, keeps the pest from becoming accustom to the irritation and eventually immune.
Sonic BirdChaser for the control of pest birds
Sonic means sound, unlike ultrasonic which cannot be heard by humans, sonic can be heard by humans. Sonic bird chaser control birds by using predatory species calls. In example hawks, eagles, and owl calls let the pest birds think that the predatory bird is in the area. Thinking that the predatory birds are around, means it is unsafe for the pest birds to stay around. The Sonic Birdchaser is motion detector activated or timed from 5 minutes to 30 minutes, these functions are user selectable and user controlled. The motion detector works in a flat plane extending out in front of the sonic bird chaser control. If a bird flys through this flat plane it sets off the predatory bird sounds. We recommend the timed function, once selected you may set the time between predatory bird calls from 5 minutes to 30 minutes. The thinking is that the pest birds will hear the predatory bird calls prior to actually arriving and not want to frequent the area as it might not be safe. In either setting the photocell turns the device on at dawn and off at dark, when the birds have already picked out a roost for the night. You may also control the volume of the predatory bird calls. The sonic birdchaser does require access to 115vac household current. We have used the sonic birdchaser for about two years and have anoticeable drop in the amount of birds. We are on a migratory path for birds going and coming from the south on their annual journey, a swarm used to frequent our parking area. There were so many of them that the wing beats were almost deafening. No dead birds with Sonic Bird Control and the vehicles are not covered in bird feces.
